AUBURN – Amanda Leavitt has joined Sylvan Learning Center as the center director of the Auburn office, 243 Mt. Auburn Ave., Suite C, one of four Sylvan locations in Maine.

Leavitt is a Maine native who is a certified high school English teacher. She is a 2004 graduate of Emerson College with a bachelor of arts degree in writing, literature and publishing. She obtained her teacher certification through St. Joseph’s college in 2006.
