LEWISTON – The Institute for Civic Leadership, with the Board Network, is sponsoring a workshop “Fundraising Fundamentals: The How, When, Where and Why of a Successful Solicitation” for nonprofit board members and executives. The workshop will help board members develop skills that can be used to contribute to an organization’s fundraising program.

The workshop will be held at USM Lewiston-Auburn College, 51 Westminster St., from 8:30 a.m.-noon on Oct. 18, with a continental breakfast at 8. Registration fee is $70 per person and $55 for additional group members. Registration cancellations must be received at least 48 hours prior to the workshop.
