AUGUSTA — Maine Robotics has announced the results from the FLL Championship held Dec. 10. 

Local winning teams are: 

• Buckfield Bots of Buckfield was awarded first place in Gracious Professionalism; 

• Hartford Sumner Wolves of Buckfield was awarded second place in Energizer and awarded Outstanding Volunteer;

• Smart Fun Engineers of Farmington was awarded first place in Presentation;

• The Clan of Mordu of Jay was awarded first place in Performance, in Champions and in Robot Finals;

• The Elvers of Jay was awarded second place in Presentation;

• The Husky Wizards of Jay was awarded second place in Innovative Solution;

• Hot Dogs of Paris was awarded second place in Teamwork; 

• Trail Hounds of Paris was awarded first place in Research and second place in Champions; and

• Supreme Commanders of the Rob, a first-year team from East Winthrop, was awarded the Rookie Award.
