MADRID — Kay Eisenhaur, 76, of Madrid passed away Sunday evening, Dec. 18, with loved ones by her side.
She was born June 27, 1940, in Winchester, Mass., and graduated from Reading High School. On April 25, 1959, she married her high school sweetheart, Donald Eisenhaur.
She was a devoted wife, mother and Nana who often referred to herself as a “home engineer,” a title she wore proudly. She was an avid Bar Harbor camper, Myrtle Beach snowbird, sea glass hunter, blueberrier and shoreline explorer. Her family meant the world to her.
She is survived by her best friend and husband, Donald Eisenhaur of Madrid; their children, Donald Jr. and fiancée, Jeanne Blais, Doreen Hannon and husband, Bill, of Massachusetts, David Eisenhaur and wife, Bea Bea, of Madrid, and Darren Eisenhaur and his wife, Mary Kate, of New Hampshire; grandchildren, Ryan, Jen, Lucas, Ethan, Nicole, Kyle and Kayla; and four great-grandchildren; eight siblings: Valerie, Robert, Richard, Roberta, Raymond, Patricia, Luanne and Sally.
Her parents and siblings, Nancy, Burt and Diane, predeceased her.
