MEXICO – Steven Hilde-brand has been named marketing coordinator for Oxford Federal Credit Union, said Cynthia Giroux, vice president of human resources/marketing.
A graduate of West Virginia University in 2000, he has traveled with the Miss USA Pageant system and owned a video production company based in Maryland. Hildebrand and his wife moved to Maine in 2005 after they visited on a weekend trip and fell in love with the beauty of the state. In 2005, he began working in Maine with WCSH-6 in Portland as a director/producer. He and his wife live in Otisfield. Oxford Federal Credit Union’s main office is at 225 River Road in Mexico.
CMCC to hold prototyping conference
AUBURN – The New England Rapid Prototyping Center at Central Maine Community College will hold a National Rapid Prototyping Additive Manufacturing Regional Workshop from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 8, at the CMCC campus. The cost of the workshop is $50 and includes lunch.
Rapid prototyping is a common name given to related technologies that are used to fabricate physical objects from 3D CAD data sources by bonding materials to form objects. The objective of the workshop is to focus attention on the benefits and innovative uses of rapid prototyping and 3D printing, including its applications in manufacturing, architectural, medical and art.
The workshop is sponsored by the National Science Foundation.
