PARIS — Forty of Maine’s finest artists and handcrafters will join some of Maine’s best performers for live entertainment and fine local fare at the seventh annual Moore Park Art Show on Sunday, July 30.
The show is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A rain date is set for Sunday, Aug. 6.
Finely-crafted artwork of all kinds and styles will be exhibited by artists set up around the gazebo at the historic Moore Park on Route 26. Joining the artists will be a slate of musicians, dancers and theatrical performers, including a special grant-funded performance by Celebration Barn Theater and a free children’s theater workshop hosted by the ring leader of Circus Ole and Feast of Fools.
Artists will be vying for $50 ribbons in Fine Art, Photography and Artisan Craft, to be judged by regional art professionals, in addition to a $250 Purchase Award sponsored by Chandler Funeral Homes.
Booth spots are available for exhibitors, food vendors and community groups. All artwork exhibited in booths must be the design and creation of the accepted artists and crafters.
