AUBURN – The Auburn Police Department will offer a Business Police Academy focusing on Auburn businesses. Classes will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Mondays at the police station starting June 4 and continuing for four weeks.

Topics will be “Bad Checks” on June 4, “Identify Theft” on June 11, “Site Protection (Physical Plant Security)” on June 18, and “Shoplifting/Burglary Incident” on June 25.

Business owners (large and small), managers, associates and other employees are encouraged to attend. Due to the sensitivity of some of the topics covered, proof of business affiliation may be required.
