Valentines sock hop dance

LEWISTON — The Lewiston Elks will host a Valentines sock hop dance at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Lodge. The entertainment will be provided by sock hop band Jessie and the Cruisers.

Tickets are on sale and cost $10 per person.

Pinochle, pitch players welcome

LEWISTON — Pinochle and pitch card games for seniors are played weekly at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave.

New players are always welcome. Pitch is played at 1 p.m. on Tuesdays. Pinochle is at 1 p.m. on Thursdays. Refresher courses are available in both categories.

The armory is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Players must become a member to participate.
