AUBURN – Formed Fiber Technologies Inc. has been awarded ISO/TS 16949:2002 certification for its quality management system.

ISO/TS 16949 is the internationally recognized technical standard designed to align quality within the automotive supply chain. An important aspect of the standard is its focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

FFT’s certification is the result of a 2-year project by a team of associates who worked to incorporate advanced concepts and practices into the company’s quality management system.

FFT, headquartered in Auburn, is a supplier of nonwoven interior trim to domestic and transplant original equipment manufacturers and converters in the automotive industry. The company uses mostly recycled materials to manufacture its products.
