NORWAY – Norway Savings Bank announces Brian E. Shibles has been promoted to vice president and chief financial officer.
He is responsible for all aspects of accounting related to the financial performance of the bank.
Prior to joining Norway Savings Bank, Shibles spent 15 years in public accounting, including 10 years as the local manager for a regional CPA firm, and two years as CFO for Hancock Land Co., a timberland management company.
Shibles attended the University of Southern Maine, University of Maine at Augusta and the Center for Financial Training. He serves as an advisor for the Oxford County Fund of the Maine Community Foundation and as the 5th and 6th grade basketball coach for Waterford.
He has two adult daughters, Cait and Amy, and resides in Waterford with his wife, Shelly, and stepsons, Bret and Ryan.
