AUBURN – Jon Petkers has joined the staff at HealthSouth Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center as a physical therapist.

Petkers is a Lewiston native and graduated from Lewiston High School in 1993 and from the University of New England in Biddeford in 1997 with a bachelor of science degree in physical therapy.

He is licensed by the American Physical Therapy Association and is a member of the Maine chapter of the APTA. His background includes outpatient, inpatient acute care, home health, aquatics and wound care. His areas of clinical expertise are outpatient orthopedics, spine and manual therapy.
