RUMFORD – The River Valley Technology Center, the River Valley Growth Council and the River Valley Chamber of Commerce are offering a lunch and learn seminar on insurance issues.
The June 21 seminar will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the River Valley Technology Center on 60 Lowell St. The cost is $10 and includes lunch. River Valley Chamber of Commerce members pay $8. This month’s topic is Insurance Issues and will be presented by Thomas Record. Record is the senior staff attorney at the Maine Bureau of Insurance. He is a graduate of Oxford Hills High School, the University of Maine and the University of Maine School of Law.
This seminar will have a variety of insurance and insurance regulatory topics with emphasis on matters of interest to small business. The program will touch on health insurance, workers compensation, and commercial property and casualty insurance.
