SOUTH PARIS – A free workshop for anyone interested in starting a business is being offered starting March 8.

“The Basics of Starting a Business” is a joint project of the Maine Centers for Women, Work and Community, and the Women’s Business Center at Coastal Enterprises Inc. The three-part series will cover what it takes to run a business, the basics of marketing a product or service, and how to do a cash flow.

Preregistration and attendance at all three sessions is required.

Workshop sessions will be held from 9 a.m. to noon March 8, 15 and 22 at Western Maine University & Community College, South Paris.
