NORWAY – The Oxford Hills SCORE Chapter has scheduled workshops in “Business Planning for Business Start-ups” during January at the Norway Town Office, 26 Danforth St.

Workshops will be held on successive Wednesday evenings, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The workshops are: “Preparing a Business Plan,” Jan. 4; “Marketing,” Jan. 11; “Cash Flow Projection,” Jan. 18; and “Financing a Small Business,” Jan. 25.

The workshops will be presented by members of SCORE and the Small Business Development Center/AVCOG. Writing a good business plan and understanding marketing and the details of cash flow and finances are vital to the success of any new business, organizers said.

The fee for the four-session series is $45 and includes participation by one business partner or spouse. Advance registration and payment may be made with the Oxford Hills SCORE Chapter by calling 743-0499.
