BRIDGTON – Bridgton Hospital obstetrics nurse and certified lactation counselor Crystal Coen, a registered nurse, has successfully completed the rigorous requirements to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

The certification is the professional standard of competency in the lactation field. It is the only official, international credential for those offering breastfeeding and lactation care. There are now around 17,000 International Board Certified Lactation consultants worldwide.
