NORWAY – Twin Town Homes Inc, was recognized recently by the state of Maine on the anniversary of 50th year in business.

Founded on 1955 by Alton Luck, the company was taken over in 1957 by son Hayward. Since then, Twin Town Homes has become a major contributor to the growth of the manufactured housing industry.

The company has grown from selling 8-foot-wide trailers to full-size homes in almost any style, including Cape, ranches, colonials and even two-family homes.

The company has been a long-term employer as well. Robert Huotari, manager and president of Twin Town, began there 40 years ago as a lot boy.

The award was presented in an Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce ceremony that preceded the fourth annual Oxford Hills manufactured housing show.
