BANGOR – Lisa Laliberte of Lewiston has been elected president of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors – Maine for 2005-2006. She has been a State Farm Insurance agent in Lewiston since 1994; her local achievements have included State Farm Select Agent, Life Ambassador, Legion of Honor Agent and Bronze Tablet Qualifier.

She has been an active association member since 1997 and has moderated the Leadership in Life Institute in Florida and New England. She serves on the curriculum group for that institute.

Laliberte has received the National Multiline Sales Award and National Sales Achievement Award.

The Maine association, founded in 1959, has 320 members. It is one of 900 state and local associations that comprise the national federation.
