LEWISTON – Ralph Tuttle was recently re-elected chairman of the Lewiston-Auburn chapter of the SCORE Association, “Counselors to America’s Small Business.” In this role, he will be responsible for guiding all chapter functions and increasing outreach between SCORE and the L-A area’s small business community.
Serving with Tuttle on the chapter’s executive committee will be Richard Kendall, vice-chairman; Robert Parnes, second vice-chairman; Maurice Ouellette, treasurer; and Robert Sawyer, chapter secretary.
At the chapter’s recent membership meeting, SCORE’s Platinum Award was presented to Diane Heutz for her years of leadership and service. Distinguished Service Awards were presented to Maurice Ouellette, Dana Pelletier and Carroll Minkowsky, and Richard Kendall and Jackie Kahn were recognized for 10 years of service. Certificates of Appreciation were presented to retiring counselors Arthur Buettner and William Young.
The SCORE Association was formed in 1964. SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. More than 10,500 volunteer members provide individual counseling and business workshops for aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners.
