AUBURN – Evergreen Subaru held a groundbreaking ceremony at 774 Center St. as it begins construction of a state-of-the art, 13,000-square-foot automotive-retail facility. It will bring factory-authorized Subaru sales and service to Androscoggin County for the first time since 1999. It is expected to open in later this year.

Auburn’s Taylor Engineering handled the civil and structural engineering tasks for the building and Joy & Hamilton Architects completed the design. Lewiston-based Dan Hebert Construction, LLC, is the construction manager for the project.

By the time it opens early next year, Evergreen Subaru plans to hire 10 employees, growing to 14-plus within the first year. For more information, visit www.evergreensubaru.com.
