AUBURN – The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a seminar examining team building from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, at Central Maine Community College.
Among the themes are
• Group Adhesive: Defining what holds your particular group or team together, while applying stronger adhesives to those worn or frayed parts of the group;
• Valuing the Individual: The work place of today and tomorrow is moving to small efficient work groups where one person does make a big difference to the group’s overall effort and outcome;
• Action-groupwork: Get team members rowing at the same time and in the same direction for maximum group effectiveness; and
• Group Gravity: Discover how to involve, motivate, and sustain a positive teamwork environment.
The seminar will be facilitated by John T. Jenkins, owner of Peptalk Personal/Professional Training and Development Seminars.
Cost is $25 for members and $60 for nonmembers. To register, contact the chamber at 783-2249.
