RUMFORD – The next Business Lunch and Learn Seminar will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, at the River Valley Technology Center, 60 Lowell St.

This month’s topic will be “Doing Business on the Web, Part 1” to be presented by Meriby Sweet. Sweet is the center director for Maine Small Business & Technology Development Center at Maine Technology Institute.

This session will discuss the options for doing business on the Web, the issues to consider for each model, and how to determine the appropriate strategy for business. Advantages of each model, costs, infrastructure, management and pitfalls will be open for discussion.

This seminar is an overview presentation; those who have a Web site and are seeking sophisticated technical assistance may register for “Part II” in the next series of sessions.
