PORTLAND – The Maine Patent Program of the Technology Law Center will present “Selecting and Protecting a Good Trademark” from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2, at the University of Maine School of Law at 246 Deering Ave. in Portland, in the Moot Courtroom. The featured speaker is Roger H. Bora, an associate at Pierce Atwood.
Bora will explain the importance of choosing a strong trademark when developing a brand strategy for products or services. Learn how to protect a trademark through registration and proper usage, and the do’s and don’ts of trademark licensing.
Before joining Pierce Atwood, Bora practiced as a trademark examining attorney with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
