LEWISTON – Missy Bilodeau of Auburn announces the opening of Peace on Earth Bodywork, an integrated practice consisting of Polarity Therapy, Therapeutic Massage and Athletic Training services.

Peace on Earth Bodywork is located at 513 Sabattus St. in a newly remodeled facility.

Polarity therapy is a healing art that combines relaxation, positive focus, the power of choice, exercise, nutrition and energy awareness. Benefits of this therapy include increased energy levels, relaxation, creativity, focus, fun and improved overall health.

Prior to becoming involved with polarity and therapeutic massage, Missy worked as an athletic trainer, helping both healthy and injured individuals through injury evaluation and rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, personal training, home exercise programming, aquatic rehabilitation, goal setting, nutrition education and smoking cessation.

She is a certified athletic trainer, certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association and licensed by the state of Maine. She is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Most recently, she completed her education at the Polarity Realization Institute in Portland, where she received her advanced polarity and therapeutic massage certifications.

The office hours of Peace on Earth Bodywork are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Sessions are by appointment only and can be made by calling 795-6562.
