AUBURN – Harriman Associates announces the addition of seven new design professionals to its architectural and engineering firm.

Intern architect Anthony Roy is responsible for the design, presentation, documentation and production of architectural projects in the Auburn office. He has experience in the field of architectural services and 3-D computer modeling. He holds a bachelor of architecture degree from Norwich University and an associate of arts architectural studies degree from the University of Maine, Augusta. He resides in Poland Spring.

Deborah M. Tempesta is accounts receivable/accounts payable representative. She is responsible for processing invoices, employee payroll and reconciliation of financial sheets. She is a notary public and holds an associate of science, business administration with distinction/accounting concentration from the University of Maine, Augusta, Lewiston. She is a resident of Auburn with her husband, Tom, and their two daughters, Chesari and Toni.

Structural engineer Greg Cuetara is responsible for the structural design of buildings and production of contract documents. He holds a master of engineering degree from Cornell University and a bachelor of science degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. A native of North Hampton, N.H., he resides in Auburn.

Architect Jon Boyd is responsible for programming, design and coordination of a variety of educational projects. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, Maine Chapter of the AIA, and NCARB. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in architecture from Iowa State University. A native of Des Moines, Iowa, Boyd resides in Brunswick with his wife, Heidi, and their sons Jasper, 11, and Elliot, 7.

Polly-Jean Mottram is marketing assistant in the Auburn office. She supports the firm’s principals, partners, and marketing manager in day-to-day marketing functions, including advertising and public relations services. She holds an office information systems certificate degree from Central Maine Technical College in Auburn. She resides in Turner in her husband, Jason, and their 3-year-old son, Jacob.

Steven M. Martel was appointed project mechanical engineer. He manages the design of HVAC systems for Harriman’s schools, office, hospital and industrial projects. He serves on the Board of Governors of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning Engineers and is past president of its Maine Chapter.

He is a Maine Professional Engineer and is certified in Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED).

Martel holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering (thermodynamics) from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a bachelor of arts degree in environmental biology from Middlebury College. He resides in Standish.

William J. Bell III, an electrical designer, designs and develops detailed system design in CADD. Some of his responsibilities include: writing specifications, performing code studies and verifying code compliance. He holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering technology from the University of Maine, Orono, and an associate’s degree in electrical design from the Maine Maritime Academy. He resides in Augusta with his wife, Beth, and their two daughters, Alyssa and Samantha.

Harriman Associates provides architecture and engineering design services for education, government, commercial and health care clients throughout New England from offices in Auburn and Portland, Maine, and Portsmouth, N.H.
