PORTLAND – Bruce R. Poliquin of Auburn has joined the construction firm Ledgewood, Inc. as safety director. Poliquin, a safety and occupational health professional for more than 25 years, worked for Contractors Risk Management and OSHA. He administers and supervises Ledgewood’s safety and health initiatives to increase the knowledge, awareness and compliance of all personnel.

Ledgewood, founded in 1978, provides full construction management and general contracting services for commercial, health-care, educational, and institutional clients. Ledgewood’s recent and current work includes, among others, projects for Maine Medical Center, One Riverfront Plaza, Mercy Hospital, 280 Fore Street, South Portland School Department and Mount Desert Island Hospital.
