NEWRY – Mark Herron has been named the new vice president of Lodging at Sunday River Ski Resort. He will oversee the resort’s two hotels, the Grand Summit Resort Hotel and Conference Center, the Jordan Grand Hotel and Conference Center, the Snow Cap Inn, and the condominiums.

Sunday River has lodging facilities for upwards of 6,000 guests.

Herron is a graduate of the University of Iowa, and was most recently the general manager of the Wyndham Pittsburgh Hotel. He also worked for the Wyndham Hotel chain in Minnesota and Texas.
