AUGUSTA — Irene M. Cervenak, 86, a resident of Livermore Falls, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 28, at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta.

She was born April 21, 1931, in Winslow, the daughter of Willis Phillips and Elizabeth (Claire) Phillips. She attended school in Winslow. She was married to Glenwood Elliott and later to Philip Morse until they later divorced. Irene worked at Livermore Shoe until it closed. She enjoyed knitting, especially dishcloths, puzzles, reading, going to the coast, eating lobster rolls and socializing with family, friends and neighbors.

She is survived by her son, Norris Elliott and his wife, Bambi, of Vienna; daughters, Jane Heap of Jay, Gail Churchill and her husband, Ronnie, of Livermore Falls, Carol Churchill and husband, Skip, of Windsor, and Linda Adams and husband, Jeffrey, of Bowdoinham; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Beverly Irish of Winslow and Ellen Durkee of Saco; and her former husband, Glenwood Elliott.

She was predeceased by her sons, Glenn and David Elliott; her daughter, Lucerne Elliott; and brothers, Addison and Edward Phillips.
