PORTLAND (AP) – Officials are investigating the cause of a fire that heavily damaged a Portland restaurant and an adjacent market and apartment house.

The three-alarm fire broke out late Sunday afternoon at Binga’s Wingas on Congress Street.

Flames spread from the restaurant to an adjacent apartment building, which also houses the Al-Mustaqi Halal Market and butcher shop.

Officials said no serious injuries were reported, but two firefighters were hurt when they slipped and fell on the ice.
