PORTLAND (AP) – Gas prices continue to decline in Maine, dipping to $2.05 to $2.07 at several locations in Greater Portland.

AAA said Saturday the average price for regular gas in Maine is $2.28. A month ago the average price was $3.04; a year ago it was $3.10.

AAA of Northern New England previously announced optimism that prices will continue downward, dropping below $2 per gallon.
