WATERVILLE (AP) – Waterville police say they’ve arrested a Clinton woman in connection with a weekend robbery at a Dunkin’ Donuts shop.

Police say they recovered about $1,700 in cash from 33-year-old Cheryl Stone when they arrested her on a robbery charge.

An employee of the Kennedy Memorial Drive business told police that the robber approached the drive-in window and passed a note demanding cash on Saturday. No weapon was displayed. The suspect was caught fleeing from the business toward a parked car.

Stone had been fired from the Dunkin’ Donuts.
