WATERVILLE (AP) – Police are investigating two home invasions in central Maine, one in Palmyra and the other in Waterville.
In Palmyra, a lone man armed with a knife forced his way into a home Tuesday night, threatened the woman living there and bound her with duct tape before leaving on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
In Waterville, a man wearing a dark-colored, hooded sweat shirt and a ski mask broke into a Western Avenue home earlier Tuesday and demanded prescription drugs. Police say the man got away with some drugs that were not narcotics.
The victims’ names were not released.
