OLD ORCHARD BEACH (AP) – Maine State Police detectives continued interviewing people Monday in search of clues into the death of a 45-year-old Old Orchard Beach man.
Spokesman Steve McCausland said evidence technicians have been through the home and car of Winston George, who was reported dead at 5:30 Friday morning in the Smithwheel Road house where he lived with his wife and teenage son. Police found his car abandoned outside an Old Orchard Beach restaurant.
McCausland said evidence has been brought to the state’s crime lab for analysis, but police aren’t releasing the cause of death or details surrounding the homicide.
WCSH-TV reported that a Biddeford taxi company said it has provided information about two passengers that may be of interest to investigators.
