BANGOR (AP) – An investigation was under way Tuesday into the death of a city worker who was killed while working on snow-removal equipment following Monday’s storm.

Ronald Raymond, a mechanic with Bangor’s motor pool who was first hired three decades ago, was injured by heavy equipment used in snow removal. Police didn’t provide details of the accident.

A co-worker called police after the accident, but Raymond was already dead.

The state Bureau of Labor Standards and Bangor police were investigating.
