AUBURN — Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice will host its annual fundraiser, Autumn Night Out, on Friday, Oct. 9, at Martindale Country Club. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and reservations are $35 each person or $120 for a group of four. All proceeds will benefit hospice services.
Autumn Night Out will feature a three-part chef selected bistro sampler and wine, music by the Mimosa Trio and silent and live auctions. Auction items have been donated by many local businesses from all regions of the agency’s Central and Western Maine service area.
Last year, the agency provided hospice care to more than 1,000 people at home, in nursing facilities and at the Hospice House. Support from community events like Autumn Night Out are vitally important to sustaining the volunteer and bereavement support as well as providing care to those who do not have health insurance.
