Church opening

BUCKFIELD — The Old Church of the Hill, High Street, will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Labor Day, Sept. 7.

The Old Church Committee is working toward a goal of having the Old Church once again available for weddings and other small group activities.

Women’s luncheon

PARIS — Christian Women United will hold a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, at the First Congregational Church, South Paris. Musician will be Ed Gabrielsen. For reservations, call Peggy Turner at 743-6684.
