LIVERMORE – The Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing Thursday to accept comment and consider an administrative appeal regarding a garage built too close to a right-of-way setback.

The hearing will begin at 4 p.m., Dec. 18, at the town office.

It is not a variance appeal, but rather an administrative appeal, select board administrative assistant Kurt Schaub said.

Steve and Michelle Berry of Fish Meadow Road filed the appeal in response to a notice of violation issued by the code enforcement officer, Schaub said

The couple maintains that the permit was not clear and a mistake was made, Schaub said.

There is a 25-foot setback requirement for the road right-of-way, he said.
