FARMINGTON – The League of Young Voters is collaborating with a University of Maine at Farmington student group to sponsor an Iraq War forum.
The forum will feature three panelists, including war veterans Adam Cote and Alex Cornell Du Houx.
Cote is a former candidate for the 1st District U.S. House of Representatives seat, and Cornell Du Houx is a candidate for the Maine Legislature.
Also on the panel will be UMF faculty member Scott Erb, teacher if international relations and comparative politics.
The panel will discuss the five years of war in Iraq and how future politicians will shape U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East.
UMF student organizer Andrea Marescia will moderate the discussion, which starts at 7 p.m. in North Dining Hall-C of the Olsen Student Center on the UMF campus.
