LIVERMORE FALLS – Police are investigating a burglary at a Moose Hill Road home.

The owner had been away, and a friend found the home and garage broken into and about $7,540 worth of items missing, Lt. Thomas Gould said Sunday.

The burglary occurred within the past three weeks, he said.

Among items taken were a generator, tools, clothing, chain saws, electronic devices and movies, he said.

The residence is used as a summer home, and a friend found the missing property and reported it to the owner.

“We believe that more than one person was involved,” Gould said.

Police have no leads and are asking anyone with information to call them at 897-3424.
