JAY – Jay School Committee has expelled two high school students in connection with five bomb threats made at that school from Jan. 25 to March 20.

The committee’s action came after disciplinary hearings in late March, Superintendent Robert Wall said Monday.

The committee also suspended a third student accused of making one bomb threats at the high school after a hearing in early March. The suspension will run until at least the beginning of the 2008-09 school year.

Six boys face criminal terrorizing charges connected to the bomb threats, five at the high school ranging in age from 15 to 17, and one at the middle school under age 14.

Police are still working to resolve the March 6 and March 20 threats at the high school.
