LIVERMORE FALLS – Police are investigating a burglary of an apartment on Bemis Street, said Chief Ernest Steward Jr. Monday.

A 32-inch flat screen television and a 120 piece socket set were taken from the apartment between 11 a.m. and midnight Saturday. The owner reported the theft to police on Sunday.

The owner had a faulty lock on his door and someone took the items while he was gone, Steward said. Nothing else is missing from the apartment, he said.
