Workers from the Maine Department of Transportation and Pan Am Railway and Springfield Terminal Railways were on site Thursday to temporarily fix the railroad crossings on Bridge, Main and Depot streets in Livermore Falls. Town Manager Martin Puckett said Pan Am said they’ll be back the first week of May 2008 to regrind, pave and put down new rubber matting to smooth out the crossings.
