LIVERMORE FALLS – Voters in Livermore Falls and Livermore overwhelmingly passed a $9.15 million school spending plan for fiscal 2008 at the polls Tuesday.
The plan reflects an increase of $478,656 over this year but is expected to produce a reduction in education taxes.
The closest vote in Livermore Falls was on Article 14 that allows the school board to spend $9.15 million. That article passed 214-95.
Voters in Jay defeated the article pertaining to its $79,760 share of the adult education program by a vote of 453-264.
