FARMINGTON – Just in time for Valentine’s Day, local recycled-goods shop Everyone’s Resource Depot will be holding a series of open houses and valentine-making workshops to introduce its new location.

From 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, ERD, which has been open for the past month in its new University of Maine at Farmington Education Center location, will officially open its doors with an open house, according to an ERD press release.

Another open house will be held from 10 a.m to noon Saturday. People are welcome to visit the depot in Room 009 on the street level with access through the rear door closest to the Lincoln Street parking lot.

Valentine-making workshops, complete with supplies such as lace and ribbon, glitter and sequins, and pre-made inspiration projects to look at, will take place from 3 to 5 p.m Friday, Monday and Tuesday and from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, the release stated.

“All ages are welcome to attend, and a small fee will be charged to cover materials and instruction,” according to the release.
