FARMINGTON – Police arrested a Farmington man Wednesday in relation to a series of gun thefts at Wal-Mart over the past two months.

Cory Bellefeuille, 25, of Farmington was arrested Wednesday and charged with theft of firearms and marijuana cultivation, according to a Farmington Police Department news release.

Earlier that day, Farmington police, with help from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department and federal agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, searched a New Vineyard Road residence and found five stolen guns and 25 marijuana plants, the release said.

Three of the firearms had been taken from Wal-Mart during the past two months.

Court dates have been set for February and March.
