FARMINGTON – A budget advisory panel’s recommendation for a near-$4.7 million 2007 spending plan for Franklin County government will go to a hearing today.

The county Budget Committee’s proposal is about 6.2 percent more than the existing $4.4 million package but 1.41 percent less than commissioners’ recommendations and 2.16 percent less than department requests.

The hearing will be held at 6:30 p.m. today upstairs at the Franklin County Courthouse.
