FARMINGTON – A Franklin County grand jury indicted 32 people Tuesday on charges ranging from sexual assault to trafficking in drugs to kidnapping.
Robert Storer, 69, of Federal Road in Jay was indicted on six counts of gross sexual assault and one count each of unlawful sexual contact, visual sexual aggression, and unlawful sexual touching in connection with incidents with a young boy between Sept. 1, 2005, and Sept. 3, 2006.
Storer has been held on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 surety of real estate since his arrest in September.
A former Wilton pastor, Alton J. Walston, 80, of P.O. Box 946 in Wilton, was indicted on a charge of unlawful sexual contact stemming from incidents between April 1 and June 10. He is accused of trying to touch a child inappropriately while at a church function.
A former University of Maine at Farmington student, Ian Newell, 21, of 1060 Main St., Sanford, was indicted on three counts of gross sexual assault and one count each of unlawful sexual contact and assault.
Newell is accused of sexually assaulting a 19-year-old woman.

Joshua “Josh” Allen, 22, 654 New Vineyard Road, Farmington, on one count each of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs – marijuana – violation of conditions of release and criminal forfeiture of a firearm. Also, four counts of unlawful possession of the scheduled drugs oxycodone, adderall, atavan and alprazolan. Date of violation is Oct. 10.
Thomas A. Bender, 26, of 62 Main St., Jay, on one count each of forgery and theft by unauthorized taking for violations on July 13 and 31, and on one count each of forgery and theft by unauthorized taking for violations on Nov. 3 and 4, 2005.
David Bowen, 41, 58 Lakeview Drive, Hartford, one count of theft by unauthorized taking. Date of violation Dec. 13, 2004, to May 16, 2006.
Joshua M. Brann, 19, 1353 Reeds Mills Road, Phillips, on one count each of unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs – cocaine – conspiracy to commit, and unlawful possession of the scheduled drug ecstasy. Date of violation Aug. 5.
