Neil Shah, a pianist and singer-songwriter based in New York City, will perform at 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at She Doesn’t Like Guthries in Lewiston. Shah’s voice, songs and style have been influenced by classic songwriters from the 60s and 70s, as well modern alternative pop, rock and folk artists. According to his Web site, neilshah.com, he performs and tours regularly as a sideman and as a solo artist, and in 2009 began releasing recorded singles from his vast collection of songs, including “Young Forever,” “Angel” and “Frost.” Shah has also done work for music studios, television shows, commercials and features films. Guthries is at 115 Middle St. There is no cover charge.
