AUBURN — The New Auburn Senior Citizens will have a lobster shore dinner at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18. Other dinner choices will be fried haddock, fried shrimp, chicken fingers or lobster roll, which will be served at noon. Prices vary and tickets must be purchased no later than Friday, Sept. 11. Members should note the change from Wednesday to Friday until further notice, due to construction. The dinners will be held at the St. Louis Church basement hall and are for members only.

The regular meeting was held on Sept. 2, with President Virginia Levasseur presiding. September birthdays were noted and small gifts given. New members welcomed were Gerard and Marie Lebrun. The 50/50 winner was Lorraine Trembly; pot of gold winners, Helen Lepage, Normand Masse, Lucien Hamel, Claude Godbout, Rolande Ayotte and Cecile Rodrigue. A light lunch was served and bingo was played.

Open bingo for seniors age 60 and over will be on Fridays, Sept. 11 and 25.

Trips available are a tribute to Elvis Presley on Wednesday, Sept. 30, $55; Christmas in Lancaster, Penn., Monday to Thursday, Nov. 16 to 19, $379 each person includes six meals and Hershey Chocolate tours. The trips are now open to the public. For more information, call Jean at 784-5264.

There will be a meeting Wednesday, Sept. 30, at the Auburn Festival Plaza to explain how to get low-cost prescription drugs. All seniors are invited to attend.
