NORWAY — The annual Light the Garden party and silent auction is set for 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, June 24, at the Alan Day Community Garden, 26 Whitman St.
The event will include food, beer from Norway Brewing Co., wine and a selection of auction items. Online bidding at andaygarden.wordpress.com starts now and goes until the night of the auction.
The party will feature music by The Cobblestones, playing acoustic rock, Americana and contemporary folk tunes.
Guests will also have the opportunity to sample and celebrate local drinks and food that highlight culinary talents in the community.
The garden party is an opportunity to support the mission of improving community health, access to nutritious foods, youth education and leadership, and building a local food system.
There is a sliding scale entrance fee of $20 to $50 for the evening.
