Katina Traie Lessard
1972 – 2009
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH — Katina Traie Lessard, 36, of Hawaii, died Friday, Sept. 4.
She was born in Lewiston, Oct. 24, 1972, a daughter of Andre and Constance Bilodeau Lessard. She graduated from Greenville High School and the University of Utah, with a bachelor’s degree in biology.
She worked for the Marriott Corporation in time shares sales. She excelled at all alpine sports, especially skiing. An avid athlete, she loved surfing, mountain biking, hiking, white water rafting, kiteboarding and many other outdoor activities.
Her outgoing personality, contagious smile and beauty will be missed by all who were blessed with her friendship and love. She loved to travel and will be remembered by her circle of friends across the country.
She is survived by her mother, Constance Lessard of Old Orchard Beach; a sister, Paula Murano of Biddeford; five brothers, James David Slavens and wife, Helga, of Colorado, Michael of Gray, Todd of Oregon, Brock and his wife, Christy, of Florida, and Patrick and wife, Melissa, of New Hampshire; aunt and uncle, Reina Lessard and George Phillips of Minot; and nieces and nephews, Kaylee, Christopher and Mason Lessard, Ross Paul Murano.
She was predeceased by her father, Andre Lessard.
